A short film I was dop for a small project in Birmingham was a two-day shoot all of this was shot on my Sony A7 IV using only my vintage prime lenses I did some shoulder rig shooting the majority of this was shot on sticks.
I was also asked to colour grade this and I was also part of the Edit which is still in post-production.
The Chi Oakfor Show!
"The Chi.Okafor's Show" An Unusual Project inspired by the Legally Blonde Harvard University submission video, the brief was to try and match as many shots from the Legally Blondes Harvard video as Ms Okafor felt it was fitting for this subject matter of this film.
This was shot on my Sony A7 VI with a mixture of the 28 to 70mm my 55 to 210mm and my assortment of exacter prime lenses which consisted of 50mm,100mm and 135mm lenses, this was a bit of a mix between tripod handheld and shoulder rig set up.
I tried to use the sun as much as possible as my key light and then for certain indoor scenes, I would use an LED panel to try and soften some of the Shadows we had within the room and make Ms Okafor the centre of attention within each shot.
I did the editing in Premiere Pro and I did the final colour grade in DaVinci Resolve
Miahs Story!
For "Micah's Story" I was technical the Second Unit DOP, as the first DOP had another engagement and this was shot in London, actually on the same day as "Skit N Tings." a slightly more complicated shoot, partly because of the lighting & there was a lot of camera movement.
this was shot on my Sony A7II with a 28-70mm lens set up in a shoulder Rig set-up, again we had minimal lighting, with our key light being a street light.
Skit N Ting!
I was the 2ND UNIT DOP "Skit N Ting" shot in London, which was roughly half a day shoot, I shot this with my Sony A7II that I had at the time, with a 28-70mm lens, with a mix of tripod and should rigs set up.
For the restaurant scene, I use the practical lights as my key lights and then where necessary I add a simple filler light, for the office scene
